“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.”
– Corrie Ten Boom
Our August 2012 mission to Kenya had a construction component to it. Earlier this summer Touching Lives Kenya obtained office space in Magunga. But this office required a good bit of work to make it the TLK “home”. What a blessing it was to watch as the local workmen transform the four walls, two windows, and one door into a home where we can welcome visitors and introduce them to what God is doing through TLK.
It’s with great joy that we announce that the TLK office is now “open for business” Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (closed from 12:00pm-1:00pm) and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We welcome one and all to stop by and say hello!
A second construction project came in the form of a “thank you” to the Sanjweru Primary School Board as the second donor of the land for Sanjweru Medical Center. Touching Lives is partnering with the school board to add a much needed classroom to the school. Above is pictured the contractor for the schoolroom with one of the construction worker and just is the completed classroom!
It is only by God’s grace and the generosity of our donors, as they respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit to support Touching Lives, that these projects are coming to fruition. and the best is yet to come! We praise and thank God, as we thank our supporters, for all that He is accomplishing. May God continue to find us faithful in being His hands and feet to our brothers and sisters in need.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
