Sanjweru Medical Center

“God’s Hill” is the future site on Sanjweru Medical Center, a multi-phase hospital project that will serve the Sanjweru, Kenya community and beyond.

As a result of the Touching Lives partnership with Water Missions International, the work of creating infrastructure on God’s Hill leading up to the beginning of construction on Phase I of Sanjweru Medical Center began in 2012. A borehole was drilled and a water treatment system, operated by solar power, was completed. In February 2013 the Water Distribution Program began making clean water available to the community for the first time in many generations!
